FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our tinting, PPF, and ceramic coating services, answered by experts with 35+ years of experience.
How long does window tinting take?
Most vehicles can be tinted the same day. A standard sedan typically takes 2–3 hours, while larger vehicles like SUVs and trucks may take 3–4 hours. We offer same-day service on most jobs so you can get back on the road quickly.
Do you offer a warranty on your tint?
Yes! We offer a nationwide lifetime warranty on all materials. Our workmanship is backed by over 35 years of experience. If you ever have an issue, we'll make it right.
What are the legal tint limits in California?
In California, the front side windows must allow more than 70% of light in (70% VLT). Rear side windows and the rear windshield can be any darkness. The front windshield can have a non-reflective tint on the top 4 inches. We'll help you choose films that comply with state law.
What's the difference between ceramic and standard tint?
Ceramic tint uses advanced nano-ceramic particles that block up to 99% of UV rays and significantly more heat than standard dyed or metalized films, without interfering with cell, GPS, or radio signals. It also offers superior optical clarity and won't fade or turn purple over time.
How long does ceramic coating last?
Professional-grade ceramic coatings can last 2–5 years or more with proper maintenance. The longevity depends on the coating tier, how the vehicle is used, and how well it's maintained. We'll guide you on proper care to maximize the lifespan.
Is paint protection film (PPF) worth it?
If you want to protect your vehicle's paint from rock chips, scratches, and road debris, PPF is one of the best investments you can make. It's virtually invisible, self-healing against minor scratches, and preserves your car's resale value.
Do I need an appointment or can I walk in?
Walk-ins are always welcome! However, we recommend calling ahead or requesting an estimate online so we can prepare for your vehicle and ensure same-day service. Either way, we'll take care of you.
Can I wash my car after getting tint or ceramic coating?
For window tint, we recommend waiting 3–5 days before rolling down your windows and about a week before washing to allow the film to fully cure. For ceramic coating, we provide specific post-application care instructions to ensure the coating bonds properly.
How much does window tinting cost?
Pricing varies based on the vehicle type, number of windows, and the film quality you choose. We offer free same-day estimates. Visit us or call for an exact quote tailored to your vehicle and preferences. We also offer financing starting at $300.
Do you offer commercial and residential tinting?
Yes! In addition to automotive tinting, we provide commercial window tinting for businesses (including security films, anti-graffiti, and energy-saving films) and residential tinting for homes. Our commercial clients include dealerships, restaurants, government agencies, and warehouses.
What languages do you speak?
Our team speaks English, Spanish, and Tagalog. We're proud to serve the diverse communities of the Inland Empire and make every customer feel at home.
Can you remove old tint?
Absolutely. We offer professional tint removal and replacement services. Old, bubbling, or purple-tinted film can be safely removed without damaging your glass, and we can install fresh, high-quality tint in its place.
